No worries!! Many students come to me having already written their essays.  That’s fantastic!  I can help guide the revisions and the editing.  I work with college counselors at some of Los Angeles’s most prestigious private schools, and we are able to work together to give each student the support that she/he needs.  Some students need a single session, and some students prefer a series of sessions for extra guidance throughout the process.

My standard rate is $170/hr.

At the end of the day, SERVICE is my mantra.  Whether that’s throwing a book recommendation or two your way and sending you off to the races without any extra help from me, or if that means talking through your essay ideas and picking the best one together, and then supporting you through every draft.  

If SERVICE is my mantra, then INTEGRITY is my keystone.  I will not be writing your essay, not even a little bit.  It is very important that your essay is YOURS.  Your voice.  Your story.  Even your writing style.  What I will be doing however is teaching you how to write better.  Showing you how to “trim the fat” for a concise compelling piece.  Showing you how to spice up your verbs and scratch many of your adjectives.  Teaching you how to hook your audience, and keep them interested throughout.
