HER STORY
She didn’t just love learning. She loved teaching.
Krystyna began peer tutoring in middle school — the same year she started winning math competitions — and never really stopped. While most kids her age were watching TV, she was reading textbooks for fun. That obsession with understanding things deeply, and then explaining them clearly, became the foundation of everything she does today.
She graduated from the University of Miami with a 3.9 GPA, completing the pre-med track while double-majoring in Biology and Theatre Arts and minoring in Chemistry and Psychology. Before founding Avery Prep, she taught math and science at a prestigious private school in Los Angeles — work she loved, but that couldn’t reach nearly enough students.
After years of private tutoring, Krystyna noticed a pattern: students weren’t struggling because they were incapable. They were struggling because no one had given them the right system. So she built one. Her Blueprint to 1600™ methodology is diagnostic-first — it identifies exactly where a student is losing points before a single lesson is planned.
As demand for her sessions grew beyond what she could serve alone, she made a deliberate choice: rather than grow fast, she’d grow carefully.
